Usage Directions

• Bypass your filter media before introducing FIX-A-LEAK into the water. For sand filters, turn the valve to the recirculate setting. For cartridge or DE filters, pull out the cartridges or DE elements and circulate through the empty tank housing.
• With the circulation pump operating, pour FIX-A-LEAK gradually into the skimmer or directly in front of any active suction inlet.
• Once FIX-A-LEAK is in the system, redirect suction toward the main drain. If that is not an option, place a vacuum head in the deepest section of the pool, connect it to the standard vacuum line, and set the filter valve to the normal vacuum position.
• FIX-A-LEAK is a heavy compound and settles rapidly to the bottom. Stir it back into suspension every 4-6 hours, either by sweeping the floor manually with a pool broom or by running an automatic pool cleaner during the circulation period.
• Keep the water circulating until the leak has fully stopped.
