Usage Directions

• 1. Use a reliable test kit to bring your pool water's pH into the 7.2 to 7.8 range and total alkalinity between 80 and 150 ppm before treatment.
• 2. Pre-treat the pool water with 30 ppm of GLB¨ Stabilizer, following the dosing instructions printed on the stabilizer container.
• 3. For shock treatment, apply 9 ounces of this product per 10,000 gallons of pool water. Allow the chlorine reading to drop back to 1.0 to 1.5 ppm before permitting swimmers to enter.
• 4. Test free available chlorine daily and keep it at 1.0 to 1.5 ppm at all times. For every 10,000 gallons, add 2 and a half (2½) ounces every other day or 1 and a quarter (1¼) ounces each day, adjusting as needed based on test results.
• 5. Perform a shock treatment on your pool at least twice per month to maintain optimal water quality.
