Installation & Operation Tips

• Take out the grids or cartridges from the filter housing.
• Fill a clean plastic pail, bucket, or trash can with 8 gallons of water and pour in the entire contents of Filter Clean. (This amount treats up to 110 square feet of filter area.)
• Stand the cartridge or grids upright in the cleaning solution.
• Let the filter elements soak for at least 3 hours. For the best outcome, leave them submerged overnight.
• Lift the filter elements out of the solution.
• Rinse thoroughly with a high-pressure nozzle.
• Reinstall the cleaned filter into its housing.
• Use 32 fluid ounces per 110 square feet of filter area.
