Installation & Operation Tips

- Wrap the pressure gauge's threads with two or three layers of Teflon tape before threading it into position.- Carefully hand-thread the gauge into the NPT hole on the filter lid until snug, then use a 9/16-inch or 14mm box-end wrench to finish tightening it so the dial faces a readable direction.- DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.- On the filter's initial startup, slide the Boot so the START Arrow aligns with the gauge needle while the system is running at its designed filtration flow rate with clean, new filter media.
