Preparation:_

• Remove the filter cartridge or grids and rinse off any large debris._
• Prepare a cleaning solution by adding 1 pint (16 fl oz) of Sironaª Filter Cleaner to 4 gallons of water in a large plastic bucket or garbage can. Avoid using galvanized aluminum or porcelain containers. _

Soaking:_

• Place the filter elements into the solution, ensuring they are fully submerged._
• Allow them to soak for at least 3 hours; for maximum effectiveness, an overnight soak is recommended. _

Rinsing:_
