Protect your chlorine investment with the Valterra Cyanuric Acid Test B7525, an 8 oz professional-grade testing solution that gives you fast, accurate readings of stabilizer concentration in pool and spa water. Cyanuric acid acts as a shield for chlorine molecules, dramatically slowing the rate at which sunlight breaks them down. By regularly monitoring stabilizer levels with this easy-to-use solution, you can fine-tune your chemical program for maximum sanitizer efficiency. The clear, color-based results take the guesswork out of water balancing, while the convenient 8 oz bottle provides enough solution for numerous tests throughout the swimming season.
Key Benefits
- Pinpoint Stabilizer Readings: Delivers precise cyanuric acid measurements so you can maintain perfectly balanced pool and spa water.
- Shields Chlorine from UV Loss: Monitoring stabilizer levels ensures your chlorine stays active longer under direct sunlight.
- Lab-Quality Accuracy: Produces clear, easy-to-interpret color results for confident water management decisions.
- Season-Long Supply: The 8 oz bottle provides ample solution for consistent, repeated testing over many weeks.
- Suitable for All Pool Environments: A trusted tool for homeowners and commercial pool operators alike who demand reliable water analysis.

Installation & Operation Tips
Cyanuric Acid is commonly referred to as stabilizer or conditioner because it minimizes chlorine loss caused by ultraviolet sunlight exposure. 1. Place the test stick at the bottom of the tube and fill with pool water up to line "A" on the stick. 2. Add the test solution until it reaches line "B" on the stick. 3. Stir the mixture by moving the test stick up and down for 30 seconds, then leave the stick resting at the bottom. 4. Let the solution sit undisturbed for roughly 2 minutes, but no more than 5 minutes, before proceeding. 5. Look straight down through the liquid from above and observe the black dot. If you cannot see it, gradually lift the stick above the water line and slowly lower it until the dot just disappears. Read the numerical value on the front of the stick that sits closest to the water surface as viewed through the clear tube. This number represents your Cyanuric Acid level in parts per million relative to a million parts of pool water.
If the black dot remains visible with the stick resting at the very bottom of the tube, your pool contains fewer than 20 parts per million (PPM) of Cyanuric Acid. The recommended Cyanuric Acid range is 30-70 PPM. Should your result fall outside this window, consult a pool supply professional for guidance on corrective treatment.
