Installation & Operation Tips

1. Press the Start/Stop button on the pump, then shut off power at the circuit breaker. Disconnect the communication cable from the pump. 2. Release all system pressure before proceeding. 3. Rotate the lid and locking ring counterclockwise and lift them off the pump housing. 4. Clear out any accumulated debris and rinse the strainer basket thoroughly. If the basket shows cracks or damage, replace it before reassembling. 5. Reinsert the basket into the housing, aligning the rib on the basket with the corresponding notch in the volute. 6. Fill the pump pot and volute with water up to the level of the inlet port. 7. Wipe down the lid, locking ring, O-ring, and the sealing surface of the pump pot to remove any grit or residue.

Note: Keeping the lid O-ring clean and properly lubricated is critical for maintaining a proper seal. 8. Position the locking ring and lid onto the pot, verifying the O-ring is seated correctly. Turn clockwise until the locking ring handles rest in a horizontal position. Note: Make sure the side of the lid/locking ring marked 'Front' faces the front of the pump. 9. Restore power at the circuit breaker and reconnect the communication cable. 10. Open the manual air relief valve on top of the filter. Stand well away from the filter during this step. 11. Allow all trapped pressure to dissipate fully, then start the pump. 12. Bleed air from the filter until a continuous, steady stream of water flows from the air relief valve, then close the valve.
