Installation & Operation Tips

Cut electrical power at the house circuit breakers before working on the pump. Remove the nuts holding the volute to the seal plate. Pull the motor and seal plate back from the volute. Clear any debris from the impeller. If debris is stuck, proceed with these additional steps: (1) Take out the impeller reverse screw and O-ring. (2) Extract, clean, and reinstall the impeller. (3) Put the anti-spin bolt back in place. Reattach the diffuser and O-Ring. Slide the motor and seal plate back into the volute. Replace all hardware around the seal plate and volute junction and tighten firmly. Finish by cleaning out the suction trap.
